Carrying Signs...Can you say...Freedom of Speech?

Nobody Flashes:
Glenn Beck announced today that the American people should not carry signs anymore, or wear the Statue of Liberty costumes anywhere in public because you see...

The media will take your picture and post all Americans as being stupid. Glenn Beck knows this because the "media" manages to post pictures of Glenn Beck crying just about every time he makes a speech, making HIM look like a mental case. Still, to Glenn, crying is allowed in the republic...but not carrying signs.

You know what? The American people don't like being told what they can eat, or drink, or what car they can buy...and they certainly don't like being told that they can't do whatever they want to with their free speech.

I suggest, to honor Glenn Beck, we just don't buy his tee-shirts with FAITH, HOPE, and CHARITY on them.

How hypocritical can you get?

What's the difference if the Statue of Liberty is on your shirt, or you are dressed as the great Lady? I like to see those people who get dressed up. Who are they offending?

Obama? Muslims? China? The Global Corporate/Governmental Gurus?---Who?

Here Glenn...have a handkerchief...and hand it back. Frankly, any man trying to curtail our freedom of speech, no matter who or how great that man is...makes me want to cry.

Judging by the results of certain tea party candidates this week...I'd say we need more signs...not less.

Ines Sainz: NOBODY could be that stupid.

Nobody Knows just how everyone on the planet is laughing at the new hot sports "goddess," Ines Sainz, ---the, "I really am offended that men are trying to throw footballs at me to get my attention" reporter from Mexico.

It's one thing to want attention...it's quite another to lie about it, and blame the men who are trying to get your attention for being...men.

The reason I know she is full of booty boofa is that I, in my younger days, I use to go to ballgames in order to get the attention of one particularly cute ballplayer. Of course, I did not have the money for a boob job, and did not have half the body of this beauty, but did that keep me from trying to get the attention of a certain somebody on the field? Hell no. I had a big crush on him....and as far as I was concerned, I wanted his attention.

I got it...but I also got everyone else's attention. There you go.

I mean, I couldn't say..."Hey...I did not wear these shorts for YOU...could you please tell that guy on the field that I'm here?"

Here I am...at the Angels Stadium in Los Angeles...trying not to trip in my high heels. (Good thing I have a sense of humor.) I am completely oblivious that the team photographer down on the field was taking my picture. He later sent this to my girlfriend (the girl right behind me) who knew the guy.

My God...my hair!

You see, I had a strategy. I figured, I had to stand out in a crowd of thousands and the only way I could manage that was to make my hair REALLY big and stick out my legs. A sort of grasshopper with lipstick effect.

I would stretch out my legs as far as possible in (in a very polite way...NEVER apart mind you...I was still my mother's girl) on the chair in front of me. I would get an ice cream cone.

Oh yes...I know. Someone should have thrown a ball at me.

Nevertheless, I did have a tee-shirt that said in big letters "Honey" on the front...and of course, here in St. Louis, everyone in the ball park called me "honey" and waved when I went by.

EVERYBODY knew me.

"Hi honey!"
Men would wave and laugh, and I would wave and laugh back, and I never once took it as an insult. After all, It was hot out, and I liked shorts. I also liked the attention. Am I going to LIE about that like Miss Booty? Hell no.

I had a best friend there named Cleo. Cleo was about 88 going on 22. He had been an usher for the Cardinals for over thirty years. He would get me into a closer seat that was not far from the dugout. He knew who wasn't showing up that day. Later, I often wondered if HE was getting paid for being so nice to me...but no matter. He was wonderful. For many years...he was my best friend. I really loved that man.

At that time in my life, I had just had a child, was divorced, and was desperately lonely. A smile from a bunch of guys made me feel special, and not so alone. And I really wanted to meet someone. It was my mother who suggested I go to the ball park, where there were lots of men.

Guess what? Besides that ball player...I never met one man who ever asked me out. Sad. I guess you couldn't tell by the clothes that I was a very moral person. I really was.

I did learn an awful lot about baseball though and really came to love the game, so all was not lost.

Booty Butt was on Fox this morning. I'm not sure her 'attention' getting strategy...attacking the very men who google her, is going to get her a career as a serious journalist...but then again.. You never know. She might at least get herself a very rich football player.

And for her to say that she does not dress sexy...that might just backfire on her, because let's face it... Nobody could be that stupid.

Come back...Glenn Beck...

Nobody's Perfect: "Time is money" The Reverend Glenn Beck said today on his very popular GLENN BECK SHOW. He was explaining how everyone's time is precious, and he makes no apologies for trying to make as much money as he can from his success. He continued on to explain how much he gives to charity to lead up to the punch line, the line that he has been punching us silly with lately, which is: he wants all of America to promise and pledge to give 10 % of their income to their church. And if you do not have a church, then give 10% to PETA, or whatever, because that is the only way we will bring our country back.Uh...you wanna run that by me again? I give 10% to my church and my President will give me my freedoms back, and my money?

Now, he swears giving away money works for him. And I'm sure it does. But...come on...let's be realistic here Glenn. I'm hearing the same old song from Bill Clinton...GIVE...GIVE...GIVE!!

Everyone works for the government...through May. That's how heavy our taxes are. Millions are out of work and we are heading for the biggest depression since Hoover lost his hat, and most of us do not have enough to take us through retirement. So, wouldn't it make more sense to tell us to "save" 10% of our incomes for a rainy day? Isn't that what the great Adam Smith talked about?

I don't remember the founders ever saying , "Oh and you must tithe 10% of your income to the church." Do you?

How can we, trust our churches to help the poor here in America? How can we keep them from helping the poor in India, Pakistan, or Africa first? Doesn't our government send enough of our money overseas? When are their governments going to help their own people? Can you tell us that Glenn? Can you give us your word that all our churches will spend our money to help Americans?

Can we audit them?

And how about this--- We have been told for decades now, that Social Security will be gone for the baby boomers. So, logic tells us, we should save our money, and take care of our own. Isn't having the church get your (Glenn Beck's mandated) money, then deliver it out to the "needy" the very same concept as the government taking your money and giving out to the "needy"? What is the difference?

The churches are more moral? Really? Can you prove that? Now that our government has a hand in them...can you really trust them anymore?

Less than fifty years ago, you could go to your church, and put whatever you could afford that week into the basket. And most people gave generously. I grew up in a Methodist church, and watched this happen every single Sunday. But I also remember the day my mother threw preachers out of our house when they told her she could not attend their church unless she paid 10%, and put a down payment to them right that minute. Don't even come through that door. Jesus now is a private club.

She threw them out, and never attended again....and I don't blame her. The founders pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to each other and their country...NOT to the church. Glenn Beck is a moral man, a compassionate man. He is trying to bring back the churches...(which are now funded with governmental handouts thanks to GWB) but (sigh)he is not perfect. He went from teaching us all about the government we had, exposing the crooks, to trying to save us...which he thinks in generations to come...will help us.

If time is money, then we have a right to expect our time on this earth to mean something besides saving the earth for the generations unborn. I'm getting tired of that "Face it, you're screwed...give up everything you own now for the children." This comes mostly from men and women who's kids will never suffer.

He thinks if we all go back to God our country will be saved. Now, I believe in God, but millions of Muslims also believe in "God," and they are not exactly happy campers.

Speaking of Muslims...Glenn praised the football team in Michigan that practiced at night to honor their Muslim players. Right...give up your sleep and health so that you can flunk your test for school the next day due to football practice and sleep deprivation, just for Ramadan. Talk about idiotic.

Glenn compared the honoring of Ramadan to Blue Sundays. Really. That's a big stretch of logic...even for me.

Today, Glenn sounded just like our politicians. He said that our debt is our fault, and we should pay it off. Really?---really Glenn. That's the same as saying a bunch of white slave owners a long time ago killed and enslaved blacks, and now, forever more, the whites who had absolutely nothing to do with those acts have to pay reparations to their ancestors.

The American people have been stolen, lied to, dumbed down, and manipulated for way too long by a bunch of crooks and thieves who enriched their own lives and fortunes and scared honor with sucking us dry. And they have gotten off Scott free...and NONE of this, was our fault.

But Glenn...blames us.

Glenn abandoned the tea party once before. Then he gathered them in Washington and tried to get them all on an agenda..to save the country by becoming better people.

Say what? A bunch of unconscionable "rulers" steal our future, destroy our country, and you blame... Who again Glenn?

(Do I sound mad? I am.)

Glenn, knows what's coming. And he is trying to get us all to save each other. But he would be better off, sticking to his teaching of history, then trying to tell us how to live our lives. Good lord, we get enough of that crap. Glenn, believes he is destined to 'save the world,' a dangerous platform for any man but Jesus.

I certainly don't want to sound like a liberal, but he is giving them major ammunition, and we desperately need this great talent called Glenn Beck. He is a wonder of nature, and that makes him all the formidable when he starts blaming the American people. He plays right into the politicians hands.

Glenn Beck, is right in one thing. Time is money. And listening to Glenn Beck is getting to be a waste of time to me lately. I turn him on...and if he is on one of his preaching rants, I go to other things. Because you know what I hear? "We the People are not perfect...but Glenn Beck is. Follow him."

And may I remind Glenn...hey...nobody's perfect Glenn...go back to the blackboard. Teach history, expose the bad guys..but don't demand us to pay anything. We will wonder who you are working for. We get enough of that from our government. If our government was out of our hair, everyone would be giving money to everyone...because we'd actually have some.

Come back to us, Glenn Beck...leave the flock in God's hands. Unless you see a burning bush...or get a staff that turns into a snake...realize you are here to lead us...to knowledge. Leave the preaching to the preachers.

Nobody Remembers the Week of 9/11

Nobody Remembers the Week of 9/11
With so much happening in the world, I just thought I'd give myself and my THREE? readers a break, and just write (I'm thinking) on Sunday nights...various thoughts that may or may not be prevalent to anything whatsoever--- the purpose being to have some fun, and REALLY clear out all the meaningless 'junk' floating around in this usually stressed brain, so as to clear it to "focus" on other stuff.

And WHY you may ask, pray tell, must you do this to us?

Because my husband, has no concern with much of anything besides his new video games. And being the typical woman I can't help myself. I simply MUST get this crap out of my head. I actually stopped a movie we were watching tonight on TV just to tell him that for the first time in history...I heard a radio announcement that said that everyone who is thinking of using his gun should first, BEFORE they use it...think about what they will do to their family when they go to jail. Not IF they go to jail...WHEN.

This message, in my neighborhood means: We know you might get robbed...but you might want to think first before shooting that person who breaks into your house, because you will be sent to jail if you use your gun---which is exactly what happened lately to some guy who was just protecting himself on his own property.

What good is your gun if the government is going to send you to jail for using it to protect yourself?

Me...and my neighbors...have all been officially warned.

My husband...did not say a word. Of course, I might have said that I was thinking of a sex change, and he probably wouldn't have said a word either....meaning..he has one side of his brain...the one facing my mouth...always turned off. Thank goodness.

Okay, our land can be taken over by rich guys according to the Supreme Court, we can't protest too much...in fact, Glenn Beck was so afraid about getting a mob to Washington to protest...he made the whole talk about religion...mostly. (I'll talk about Glenn tomorrow in my NOBODY'S PERFECT piece.)

Government threatening us now in radio commercials---holy cow. Makes me long for the good old days of that Viagra guy playing golf.

And speaking of commercials...I kept seeing the same one over and over between the History Channel's 9/11 marathon of "let's watch the buildings drop about 900 times more, shall we?" This commercial was as offensive to me as anyone burning the American Flag.

The scene opens up, and a rather hefty black lady...is brushing her young daughter's hair. Her teenage son is sitting watching TV and he tells the mom he wants to join the army. And you instantly think, "Hey..a single mom...son wants to become a man...this is good." But, while you think this is a commercial for recruiting black kids into the army...it's no such thing. In fact, it's a commercial to discourage them.

The mother says," Well, I know, but I really want you to think about that decision son." Mother knows best! Then in big bold letters a warning: "Before you join...remember...to think about it first."

How are 'white" people suppose to take that? Exactly as I did. Obama wants the young black men HERE, not over in the real army. Let the white boys die. You go to school.

So, in the land where a "black" man can make over $105 million a year, get a divorce and owe his ex -wife $100 million, then go out and pay $50 million for a new house with its own golf course...it's hard to keep swallowing just how BAD blacks have it. It certainly didn't stop Tiger did it?

And by the way, Tiger claims NOT to be black, as Obama claims not to be white....as if his mother was a freak of nature. I'm going to start calling him Shamu.

And tonight, I'm ending it on a good note. I see that MTV (Music Video Awards) took some excellent lighting and stage production tips from the Canadians Olympics. Everyone looked spectacular...even the rappers, who really sucked. AND....Cher came out and stood on stage with Lady GAGA...and no one was looking at Lady GAGA but the twelve year old girls.

Good to know the old gal still has it.

And now...I bet your wondering what that other picture is. That's the shell of a huge Famous-Barr store on the end of a fabulous mall that went out of business in my neighborhood. The good news, is that they actually cut down the huge weeds that were in the parking lot last week. The bad news is: no matter how many times Obama says the words "middle class" it's been disappearing for years. My giant mall is not coming back. I have some fabulous ideas for it. Really.

What...turn the TV back on? You mean...you didn't hear what I was saying? What? ...Oh...okay.

Pac-Man IS Coming....Guard Your Dots

Nobody's Opinion: The feminist CNN-reporter, Rachel Maddow, is having a great rant on CNN tonight. It seems Newt Gingrich's new film is bugging her "Yes we can" wet tee-shirt into a knot, because he shows actual footage from 9/11,( the anniversary is coming up this weekend) which to her is as unconscionable as Sarah Palin even being allowed to have a gun in her hand.
According to Rachel, Newt is fear mongering the nation into an anti-Muslim fever, and she is just beside herself. The fact that most of us are simply appalled that our leaders are cuddling up to people that do not apologize for killing us, and threaten to kill us at the slightest excuse...has never entered her mind.

I suggest she cover that head with a nice scarf and get use to it.

Rachel then reported on "that crazy kook" who was going to burn the Quran. She spent over five minutes going after the guy. (Rev. Terry Jones) Too bad she didn't give five minutes of her anger rant to that other "crazy kook" Iman who is building the Mosque near ground zero and who wants to promote Shariah law, and even threatened violence on us if we did NOT let him build it.

Yeah, can't wait to get into that Shariah law...how bout' you Rachel?

In Shariah law, Maddow would get acid throw in her face just like this lady, for even saying what she does on TV. I wonder what Rachel Maddow thinks about that sweet idea being implanted over here as we have recently seen? And don't tell me throwing acid is radical, it's normal punishment in Islamic nations.

I'm glad the Reverend backed down, (or has he?)--- not because of the sensitive feelings of Muslims all over the world, but because he surely would have been shot by someone that Rachel Maddow would have called a hero, splitting our country up even further. And while EVERYONE has claimed he is doing a horrible thing...getting our boys killed overseas, I see a different take. I have all the faith in our boys overseas when put up against the Taliban. It's not the priest that should be blamed here, it's our President, commanders, and generals, who have castrated our soldiers in their fighting ability so badly that they have to fight a war with both hands, feet, guns, and brains tied behind their backs. They might as well give a class in military Vasectomy 101.

Great bunch of leaders we got.

WAIT...Gail Collins, a Times reporter, has just come on to inform Rachel Maddow that conservatives are really terribly, mentally ill.

Sorry, I had to turn it off.

It's been nine years after 9/11 and the Muslims are still playing us as fools. At every turn they use the "You are terrible and hateful people for not tolerating our religion, and if you burn that book, then holy war upon you all. " racial card, which, may we remind ourselves, was perfected by the blacks and the Democrats.

Mosques have been going up all over our nation, like PacMans eating dots with a frenzy.

The Islam nation, with the help of our President, are using our very own laws and good nature as Christians to force their plans of overtaking our evil country. And we put up with it, to show how sweet and good and tolerant...and stupid we are.

Did you see Obama's speech today? He was practically in tears at the thought of Afghanistan men, fighting and giving their lives to fight with us. Where were the tears for OUR boys Mr. President? Tomorrow?

The Twin Tower lots are still empty, and people should be furious. Fox news is scrambling to calm the people with updates on the hour about: "Hey it's okay! We are going to build some really cool new buildings soon! " I don't care what they build there...it will never replace the Twin Towers.

The fact is, Saudi Arabia should have built us two new buildings in the first year...exact replica's to replace the old. Or--- the bin Laden family who are in the construction business, should have built them. After all, we rebuilt whole nations after we attacked them... Japan and Germany---- it's the least they could do.

But what does this peaceful 'religion' do? They build a Mosque, feet away from the ashes. That would be like the United States building an American embassy or a Catholic Church right in the center of ground zero at Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

And now a whole nation runs scared of one little preacher protesting. That's how vulnerable we are. Scared yet?

Why?

President Bush, remarked that he was going for the bigger plan. He saw an opportunity after 9/11 to finally get our forces, our major companies, our "democracy" and our own puppet governments into the Middle East, and he thought that someday...just like Japan...the Muslim world and the United States would be best friends.

In fact, in fifty years, Bush thinks that he will be considered the greatest President that ever lived for having the vision of world peace. At least, that's what he says. His simple reasoning was that "people will pick freedom." How often did we hear him say that?

Nevertheless...as noble as the vision is..the children of Islam are very different. They are a slavocracy. Half of their people are enslaved. The woman are no better than the black slaves on the plantations...in fact...some of them have it much worse. That's just about as Kum-by-ya as the Liberals thinking that if we just "spread the wealth around the world, everyone will get along." Pick your favorite world-view fairyland poison.

The Saudis' are not the Japanese. The children do not get the normal bonding from their mothers. A Japanese mother is very doting. Muslim mothers, do not own their children. In the long dresses their skin does not touch the babies, which is crucial to a babies brain development. In some of the more radical Shariah law, the babies cannot even see the mother's eyes. Making little jihadists is pretty easy.

We fought one civil war to get rid of slavery and ... someday, it seems, we will have to fight it again. As noble as the idea of spreading democracy and KFC around the world will make everyone like us...the Islam religion is not going to change. Just ask my Armenian friend who has lived with them.

It's always the same. They build the Mosque right next to the Christian church...then...before you know it...that church is gone.

Our leaders are growing corn for ethanol as fast as they can, as if they know what's coming. To his credit, we all thought Bush was crazy for giving subsidies to all those farmers to turn their corn into fuel, (I was one of them) but maybe he was just getting prepared. Maybe they thought if they put a Muslim President in, the Muslims would not take us over, and WWIII would not come about. Peace on earth good will to all.....men.

On the other hand--WWII got us out of the depression. Who knows what the main score is?

But what you can be sure of...Racheal... Pac-Man is coming.

Prince Charles...Looking out for...?

Nobody Flashes: I couldn't help myself. I know I'm taking some time off, but since Prince Charles is going all over his country by luxery train....to promote the idea that his subjects should be using less water for their baths...and trying to get them to go green...well, let's just say, I could not pass this up.

For instance, how much ya wanna bet that someone, if not ALL of the Royal Family has one of these nifty IPOD "start your bathtub right up for you before you even walk into the castle" gadgets? *And yes...they are real.

And do we all think this guy is going to wash his million-dollar insured (by Head and Shoulders) afro with a bucket of water? What happens if they ration the water and he can't wash his hair?

Will the company collect from the crown?

Prince Charles...less like a King, more like a court jester. Giving his subjects a good laugh!

Or...is this a "I'm asking you nice this time...but tomorrow...I might have to send each and every one of you to the Tower."?

Nobody Flashes Her Email: Newtly

Nobody Flashes Her Email: Newt Gingrich can be the most die-hard American when he wants to be...and he can also confuse us when he goes off and joins liberals on nutty causes. Whatever. This is a pretty good summation of how many of us feel...enjoy. And remember...don't work too hard tomorrow!

Newt Gingrich July 21, 2010 6pm

There should be no mosque near Ground Zero in New York so long as there are no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia . The time for double standards that allow Islamists to behave aggressively toward us while they demand our weakness and submission is over.

The proposed "Cordoba House" overlooking the World Trade Center site – where a group of jihadists killed over 3000 Americans and destroyed one of our most famous landmarks - is a test of the timidity, passivity and historic ignorance of American elites.

For example, most of them don’t understand that “Cordoba House” is a deliberately insulting term. It refersto Cordoba , Spain – the capital of Muslim conquerors who symbolized their victory over the Christian Spaniards by transforming a church there into the world’s third-largest mosque complex.

Today, some of the Mosque’s backers insist this term is being used to "symbolize interfaith cooperation" when, in fact, every Islamist in the world recognizes Cordoba as a symbol of Islamic conquest. It is a sign of their contempt for Americans and their confidence in our historic ignorance that they would deliberately insult us this way.

Those Islamists and their apologists who argue for "religious toleration" are arrogantly dishonest. They ignore the fact that more than 100 mosques already exist in New York City . Meanwhile, there are no churches or synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia . In fact no Christian or Jew can even enter Mecca . And they lecture us about tolerance.

If the people behind the Cordoba House were serious about religious toleration, they would be imploring the Saudis, as fellow Muslims, to immediately open up Mecca to all and immediately announce their intention to allow non-Muslim houses of worship in the Kingdom. They should be asked by the news media if they would be willing to lead such a campaign.

We have not been able to rebuild the World Trade Center in nine years. Now we are being told a 13 story, $100 million mega mosque will be built within a year overlooking the site of the most devastating surprise attack in American history.

Finally where is the money coming from? The people behind the Cordoba House refuse to reveal all their funding sources. America is experiencing an Islamist cultural-political offensive designed to undermine and destroy our civilization.

Sadly, too many of our elites are the willing apologists for those who would destroy them if they could.

No mosque. No self deception. No surrender.

The time to take a stand is now - at this site on this issue. If, after reading this, you agree with it, please pass it on to others. This is the most clearly stated, sensible, and historically accurate statement that I’ve read on this issue!!

England---Stealing the Children

Nobody Get Email: WE WANT YOUR BABIES!

This was sent to me some time ago...from a man who knows all about the Dear Old England. And as I say...so goes England, so goes us sooner or later if we don't watch out. And this...is a nightmare.

Britain's forced adoptions:
the hidden scandal we can't ignore Our social workers normally hit the headlines when some Baby P-type horror story comes to light, showing how they failed to intervene when a child was so maltreated by its parents that it died. By Christopher Booker 07 Aug 2010

What don't usually make the news, however, are the hundreds of cases when the social workers' failure is the very opposite: where, aided by police and courts, they seem determined to remove children from responsible parents, to consign them to an often miserable life with foster carers or to adoption.

Having examined many such cases in recent months, some in exhaustive detail, and spoken to experts who are deeply disturbed by what is going on, I have no hesitation in describing this as one of the worst hidden scandals in Britain today.

It is clear that the child protection system created under the Children's Act 1989 has gone horrifyingly off the rails, leading one High Court judge recently to compare it to the kind of thing which went on in 'Stalin's Russia or Mao's China'.

Two general aspects of this system failure are particularly shocking, One is the callous disregard the system shows for both parents and children in failing to uphold the central principle it was set up to protect: the interests of the children. The other is how the system is shrouded in such secrecy that its workings remain almost entirely concealed from public view. What is remarkable is how consistently this system displays the same fundamental flaws. From the moment social workers intrude into their lives, the parents find themselves treated like criminals, plunged into a Kafka underworld. When their children are seized, on suspicions which too often turn out to be unfounded, this is almost invariably with full support from the police.

When one mother was recently breast-feeding her newborn baby at 3 o'clock in the morning, no fewer than nine police officers and social workers entered the hospital room to wrest the baby from her. The parents then find themselves caught up in a court system which seems almost entirely geared to taking their children away. There seems no one outside the system they can turn to. The judges seem predisposed against them, Even their own lawyers can seem as much part of the system as those acting for the other side.

When independent experts wish to put their case, their evidence is often ignored. As parliamentary figures show, the number of applications for care orders averages around 8,000 a year. Of these only between 0.1 and 0.2 per cent are refused.

Often just as evident as the distress of the parents is that of the children, who find themselves placed in the care of strangers for reasons they cannot understand. Where 'contact' is allowed with parents this is ruthlessly supervised by the social workers, so that if a mother speaks 'inappropriately', as by showing any sign of affection to her child, the contact may be instantly terminated.

All this appears to be in flagrant breach of the original Act, which purports to put the interests of the children first, not least in prescribing that wherever possible if they are taken from their parents they should be kept with their siblings – as so often they are not – or placed with relatives. Yet Parliamentary figures show that only in one per cent of cases are children placed with 'kinship carers' – whereas in Denmark the figure is 45 per cent.

Part of why social workers seem so zealous in seizing children on the flimsiest of evidence is that until recently councils were given ambitious 'adoption targets' by central government, rewarded with funds running into millions a year. Huge sums of public money are still available to fund this system. Social worker-approved foster carers can receive up to £400 a week for each child, and not a few social workers are foster carers themselves.

Almost as alarming, however, is the way the system manages to blanket its operations in such secrecy. Nominally to protect the interests of the children, it is forbidden to report anything which goes on in court or which might identify them. But this often goes so much further, as when social workers instruct parents that they must not talk about their case to any outsiders, that the secrecy seems designed to protect not so much the children as the system itself.

Ian Josephs, a businessman based in the South of France, first became concerned about this issue when he was a county councillor and has helped hundreds of distressed families through his Forced Adoption website. High on his list of recommendations as to how the system could be reformed is that parents who find themselves victims of the system should no longer be gagged from speaking to outsiders. There should be an end to Britain 's system of 'forced adoption', almost unique in Europe .

Instead of judges deciding behind closed doors, parents should be allowed to put their case to a jury. Contacts between parents and children should no longer be controlled by social workers but by a judge. Family courts should no longer be allowed to accept mere 'hearsay' evidence, Social workers should no longer be allowed to snatch children simply on vague suspicions that they might suffer 'emotional harm'. Finally, the courts should no longer be allowed to exclude evidence from independent experts just because this might challenge the social workers' case. With these reforms, says Mr Josephs, much of the rampant injustice of this system might be removed.

Since Parliament gave social workers such extraordinary power over other people's lives, politicians have by and large stepped away from the hideous abuse of that power which has resulted, Only the politicians can now get this tragically corrupted system back on the rails

Nobody Remembers Kevin Meyers

Nobody Remembers---Their best friend from high school...and even though I have barely kept in touch with her over these many years...I found out this week that she found her husband dead on the bathroom floor...August 11.

There's that number again.

She said she knew he was dead because when she touched him he was so cold.

And no matter how hard I tried, inside my heart there is still a very deep part of her attached to my soul, and my memories of her...and my deep love for her. In case you don't know me...I love very deeply, and many people who I really shouldn't love.

It's a bad habit, but there you go.

I also remember we had once got in a fight in high school, and the emotional pain I felt at sixteen from fighting with my friend, was so great, I can still feel it in my heart right now.

I copied the Simon and Garfunkel song called old friends on a piece of paper and gave it to her in class...

And now, I cannot offer her any real comfort or consolation...we send emails...that's about it.

Two different lives. But my love for her has never died. Only the sorrow that has been added to today because I cannot in any way help her at all.

But the words to the song, and the sadness I feel for her loss still work today...which shows the great artist that Paul Simon was...maybe you'll remember them too. "Old Friends"

"Time it was and was a time it was...it was
A time of innocence...a time of confidences
Long ago it must be...I have a photograph
Preserve your memories, they're all that left you.'

So, gang...I'm a mess today. I'm going to take some time off and probably just post the many wonderful emails I get for a few days.

Kevin Meyer...was a good man. He was a kind and gently man. He loved dogs. He loved Patty.  He was the perfect man for Patty.

There really is nothing to say...is there? All you can do is pray.

Oh, and on a completely different note...Stephen Hawkings is a ninny... so there.

Nobody Has to pay Property Taxes!

Nobody Reports: I just found out something wonderful! I can get off from paying my extremely high property taxes. You see, all you need is a museum.

If you are familiar with the Cabala's sports stores, you might, like me, have wandered amoung the vast and huge merchandising sporting stores, and been more amazed at the aquarium, the stuffed polar, grizzly bears, foxes, bulls, deer, rabbits...Why it's just so nice of them to entertain us like this!

That's what I thought. What a great idea! Add a bit of interior animal education to the shopping experience!

Than I found out that the REAL reason behind keeping all the taxidermy dead stuff is this: Cabala's can save from paying property taxes by running the faux museum as a non-profit, guaranteeing that part of the building forever be exempt from property taxes.

Oh, also, when these big chain store open up they usually don't' have to pay taxes for a certain amount of years, and they also get to keep the sales tax.

Remember that next time you see a Wal-Mart.

No wonder our libraries are closing.

So..why can't I copy the big boys? I'm going to claim I have a non-profit sword museum. Heck, I'll even put in my great-grandmother's old china from England...and that big prehistoric axe found on my grandfather's farm on display in my front window.

If the Cabala's can do it...why can't I? Why can't we all claim ourselves non-profit museums?
Hoarding will take on a whole new meaning.

(Nobody Makes this stuff up.)

Robin Carnahan Wants to Hear Rocky Raccoon

Nobody Cares:

The Democrats are desperate and will lose in Missouri.
Why do I say this?

Because for the first time in my nobody Missouri voter history, I keep getting calls from Robin Carnahan's office.

I am registered as an Independent, so they keep trying to change my vote.I tell them...I will not vote for her, but does that stop them?

Can Mayor Bloomberg stop his shameless obsequiousness to the Muslims? Can a dog stop slurping from his water bowl? Does Barney Frank want to get high, put on his boxer shorts, and chase Ricky Martin around the Hays-Adams Hotel Presidential suite?

Robin Carnahan is running for State Senate in Missouri. She wants to take over the Senate seat that her mother, Jean Carnahan had held for over two years: a seat that her mother had gotten due to a very brilliant sympathy campaign run by the Democratic party when Mel Carnahan, the father of the Carnahans' clan (Russ her brother is a Representative in Missouri) was killed when his plane went down during the very important Presidential election of Bill Clinton's' second term.

Missouri at the time, was the most important state needed for Bill's re-election.

Bill and Hillary made it to Mel's Funeral so fast, they beat the stock market. It was at this funeral that all the kids and espicially mom, were put up for coronations.

That day the mantra, "We'll keep the fire burning dad." was repeated by over 100 kins of the Carnahan family, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton...and most of the Congress. The poor people of Missouri that wanted to attend that day, were shamelessly pushed aside for the great photo ops of Bill and Hillary and their elite entourage.

And then: On the Republican family dynasty side is Roy Blunt, who is running against her. His son, Matt Blunt, was a pretty decent Governor.

Most of all, the votes in Missouri go to race, and unions. The whites will vote for the Blunts, and the blacks, Latinos and teachers vote for Carnahan.

It's the Independents that each party must court. So, therefore...me.

I asked my caller, why she was a Democrat? And she said...that she thought all homeless people should have a right to medical care.

"But, they can go into any hospital and get care...it's the law." I said

Her answer..."That's true."

Then it came out. Her mother had was a poor single parent and her house was filled with rats and roaches growing up. Bill Clinton got her a grant to go to college...(even though last week she got food from a church food bank.)

(Sigh.) Therefore, she wanted to pay more taxes.

The disconnect between this caller and her Independant listener was almost scary.

Anyway, they are persistence. I tried to talk reason with her...but she just sat and listened..probably recording every word to be analyze for the next time they call and try to convince me that a lady who served over in Europe and worked getting "voting" laws passed in different countries was someone I should vote for over a man who had a Masters in History.

The truth is: I do not like any family dynasties. There should be a law against them.

So here's what I have to say to the Carnahan campaign managers.

Leave me alone
. I'm a nice person. I will not waste time on you anymore, and if you call again...you'll get my favorite rendition of "Rocky Raccoon." It has all of 174 verses.

You might be sorry. Rocky is not as nice as I am.
