Nobody Perfect:--- on a Monday, but last week,
this guy, Pope Benedict, managed to be imperfect almost every day of the week last week. He just couldn't get a break from, not only, the vulgarity of his own Cardinals and Bishops, but all the people in the world blaming HIM for allowing pedophilia in his church to go on, and on...and on...and on...and on...and on...and on....and on..and...
on.
Not his fault. He says that God gives him the strength to not be "intimidated" by critics of petty gossip.(Petty gossip? What's petty about criminal acts? What did I miss here?)
Like the petty gossip that he told everyone that knew, to keep all this horrific stuff a secret. In other words...bug off world. I'm the Pope. I can forgive anything. We need the money to keep up this vast bureaucracy, and if a few Bishops commit crimes...so be it.
The Pope has obviously gotten a papal load of 'pragmatic' pointers from world leaders.
Put Pope Benedict up against the historical pope hater, Henry VIII, and I'd say, old Henry might come out ahead in the moral department. After all...he only chopped off a few heads. Molesting thousands of little helpless boys...well....that's not in the Pope list of "sins." Confession is all you need for him.
Just, before we go back to: HOW many angels can fit on the end of a pin again? (How many pages of taxes can you fit in the IRS code?), we need to ask this: what would Jesus say about the Pope's trifle imperfections?
(OR...when will it come out that Jesus was actaully...gay.)
We can't call Jesus back to help us out, so I say we call in, an exorcist. Obviously, the Pope of Benedict, is possessed. A demon named Politico, has taken over his soul, and it's going to take a lot more than prayer to get it out. I'm praying for Aliens to come and get him, a nice big fat UFO..filled with Pope molesters.
