Poor Donald Trump...after hearing about the secret emergency meeting today, held by the top CEO's and Paul Bernanke, the Judas of the U.S. Treasury Department...(I will not be the only one left out on all this religious stuff here)---held in secret of course so that nobody else knows what the heck they are doing...
And after hearing that the Bank of America was saving Merrill Lynch, and the Lehman Brothers were going under..
In other words, the great United States economic crash of 2008...causing banks to crash all over the world...
He rushed right out and got solid gold Credit Cards made on all his bank accounts..just so everyone would be sure to continue to lend him money.
God forbid they didn't know him.
Donald was feeling pretty bad today that he chose building fabulous buildings as a profession, instead of the more lucrative job of major Bank CEO. He could have joined the very men who have lent to him all these years. He could have been at this meeting.
Men, who on one of the worst days of American history, all walked away from this day, very happy, and very rich lads.
Dick Fuid, CEO of Lehman Brothers Bank, walked away with over 100 millions, give or take a few mil...
Chuck Price of Citigroup was teeing off with 40 million.
Stan O'Neal of Merrill Lynch's went off with 160 million.
And Jimmy Cayne of Bear Stearns, got over 62 million...
At least by their OWN reports. They could have made much more, not reported.
As we all know by the man who is the Chairman of the House, Ways, and Means Committee..that lovable rascal who Nancy loves to call her "teddy" (just kidding) ...a man who holds the moneybags of the United States government in the palm of his hands...Mr. Charlie Rangel...it's easy to forget sometimes, just how much money you really did make, especially when you have just too many houses---it's a problem.
When you have too much...it's very hard to keep track of it all. I can certainly understand. I have too many books...I know. I have a book on "How To Build a Retainer Wall" that I have NO idea where I put, and I might need it soon due to Ike hitting the middle of Missouri while skipping over Canada. (This is NOT supposed to make sense.)
Donald...you should have run for President. You could have been a contender...
(I say this tongue-in-cheek, because I happen to like the guy. Anyone who can make a pizza commercial with his ex-wife can't be all bad.)
If this teaches anything to our little future comrades, it's...BE SMART!...Grow up to be a bank President and get yourself a solid gold card to our National Treasure!
